Bardspec, the project headed up by Enslaved's Ivar Bjørnson and joined live by Today Is The Day's Steve Austin, will be releasing its debut album Hydrogen on June 23 by Enslaved's own By Norse label. The project aims to entrance its listeners in etherial atmospheres, rather than bludgeon with odd times and black metal.
This time around we've got the track "Bone," which is a really slow build whose architecture is slowly bled into by a very steady beat. It's pretty awesome, and you should pre-order Hydrogen here. Oh, and don't forget to catch Bardspec on June 29 at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn with IIVII and Gnaw!
