GOJIRA's New Song "The Chant" Is Very Clean Vocal Heavy

A lot more clean vocals than usual.

gojira-2021

Gojira has been keeping things consistently heavy with their stream of new singles recently, but are taking things down a notch with "The Chant". The new song fins the band incorporating a ton more clean vocals, sludgy riffs, and very chant-like vocals (which is why I'd imagine they named it that). A music video for "The Chant" is slated to be out this Friday.

Gojira will release their new album Fortitude on April 30. Fortitude was recorded and produced by Duplantier at Silver Cord Studio – Gojira’s Ridgewood, Queens, headquarters – and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine).
