Vexes new album Ancient Geometry is out this Friday and you can check out the band's new song "Decisions Are Death Here" below. Vexes has been drawing quite a lot of comparisons to Deftones as their singles were rolled out, though this new song takes a much heavier approach to things more in the realms of Threat Signal's choruses. Here's what vocalist Charlie Berezansky had to say about the new song and the band's first-ever music video.
It was 15 degrees in Paterson, NJ when we filmed this video. I was confident that pneumonia would haunt me for the foreseeable future.
Fortunately, we all survived and our first video was born. The song is a mood swing of sorts, and we think the video does a good job of capturing the melancholy, as well as uplifting moments throughout.
