KATAKLYSM's MAURIZIO IACONO Project EX DEO Announce New EP, Stream Bone-Crushing First Single

Ex-Deo-Maurizio-Iacono

Ex Deo, the project led by Maurizio Iacono, frontman of Kataklysm, is ready to make waves with the release of their new EP, Year of the Four Emperors. The release – set for January 10th, 2025 – will be their first collaboration with Reigning Phoenix Music.

The EP – which thematically captures AD 69, Rome’s year of chaos – can be pre-ordered here, and it's worth noting that further physical editions, including exclusive vinyl, will be released on February 14th, just in time for you to celebrate Valentine's day with some ripping symphonic death metal. Don't take our word for granted, just check out the first single below.

In support of the release, Ex Deo is hitting the road with a killer tour schedule. They’ll kick things off in January with a European tour alongside Dark Funeral and Fleshgod Apocalypse. Tickets are available here.

Following their European stint, they will head to North America in the spring, joining SepticFlesh and Vltimas for a run that promises to bring some serious fire to the continent. Tickets are available here
