Spirit Adrift has been making a name for themselves over the years in the new pantheon of doom alongside bands like Khemmis and Pallbearer. Except this time they've veered off course into some seriously powerful heavy metal in the vein of Haunt. Spirit Adrift's new song "Eyes Were Not Alive" is by far my favorite song from the band yet, mainly because it has everything – power, catchy vocals, power, kickass riffs, power, solo, and power.
