The Atomic Bitchwax is Monster Magnet's rhythm section bassist Chris Kosnik and drummer Bob Pantella, as well as guitarist and vocalist Finn Ryan, and is hands down one of the best damn rock bands out there. Their new album Force Field is out this Friday and you can bet you'll be seeing the record pretty high up on my personal Top 10 list for the year.
Besides me just trying to convince you that this record rules, listen to the new song "Hippie Speedball" below. It's catchy, it's got just a touch of progressive rock going on, and most importantly the trio's combined riffs are just straight up unstoppable.
