The Death Wheelers' music draws from quite a few places. Their sound is crafted by the aesthetics and ethos of bikesploitation movies such as The Wild Angels, Werewolves on Wheels, and Psychomania, as well as the music of Davie Allan, The Cramps, Motörhead, The Stooges, and Grand Funk Railroad.
We're more than pleased to bring these undead motorcyclists back from their retro graves at The Surrey Cemetary today with a full stream of their debut album I Tread On Your Grave. Think of this as a soundtrack to a grainy B-grade movie that's cooking on the boiling leather surface of your convertible as you're driving down a melting highway somewhere in the midwest this summer.
I Tread On Your Grave is out this Friday.
