The Mars Volta recently announced their expansive (and expensive) vinyl box set La Realidad De Los Sueños, which included the original version of their 2003 album De-Loused in the Comatorium, titled Landscape Tantrums. If you missed out on that, or just straight up didn't have like $500 to spend at the moment, at least you'll get to hear Landscape Tantrums in full on April 23. In the meantime, check out the original version of "Inertiatic ESP" below.
“Anyone listening to these tracks will get a glimpse into that time, into Omar’s soul. It is a central part of the band’s history, the recordings prove just how much this band had to share, even so soon after its founding,” said Cloud Hill label owner Johan Scheerer regarding Landscape Tantrums.
From what I gather from the vinyl cover of Landscape Tantrums, the following is the album's tracklist with unfinished vocals:
- Roulette Dares (The Haunt Of)
- Son et lumière
- Inertiatic ESP
- Drunkship of Lanterns
- This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed
- Eriatarka
- Televators
- Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt
