Rock Am Ring got an extra dose of metal this weekend, when a lightning storm rocked the festival early Saturday morning.
According to The Guardian, shortly after Marilyn Manson's set, lightning struck a backstage area injuring eight crew members. Festival organizers advised fans to take shelter under lightning-proof tents. At around 4AM, another lightning bolt hit the camping area, this time injuring 25 people.
The good news is while 33 were rushed to the hospital, nobody is seriously injured.
The festival featured sets from Motorhead, Lamb of God, Foo Fighters and Slipknot among others.
