Woah man! Here's a disc that will only further confuse you on your quest to end the munchies. Meet James Perry, a creative lad that hails from Sunnyvale, CA. He's managed to fuse some our favorite things in life together, I'm of course talking about food and metal!
Food Metal apparently started out as a quick studio exercise to build on his song writing and recording ability. It turned into a full length release featuring 13 tracks of "culinary carnage." I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical to hear yet another joke band but I couldn't help but notice this LP actually dates back to 2004, predating the barrage of metal bands turned wannabe comedians we've seen in the past six years. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and was presently surprised that it not only doesn't suck, but it actually reminds me of something Devin Townsend may have messed around with a couple years ago.
