Recently it came out that bassist Pat Bruders had quit Crowbar for some reason or another, and we totally thought Bruders had quit Down too… but apparently not.
See that picture up there? That came from Phil Anselmo's Instagram and pretty clearly shows Bruders playing bass for Down, so I guess everything is cool with Bruders and Crowbar frontman and Down guitarist Kirk Windstein? Or they're just putting up with each other. Either way it's pretty obvious that Bruders is definitely a part of the band. The band has also expressed their hopes to get into the studio by November for a 2014 release of whatever material they get tracked, according to The PRP… so hooray new Down!
