Remember when you had to wait four years between Borknagar's 2012 album Urd and their 2016 Winter Thrice? Well, this time it's looking like it'll only be three years. According to the band's Facebook page, they're in the studio right now recording what will become their eleventh record since their inception in 1995.
This will also be the band's first record without guitarist Jens F. Ryland since 2010's Universal. Ryland was in the band between 1997 and 2003, and then again from 2007 to 2018. Founding guitarist Øystein Garnes Brun is currently the only guitarist in the band.
