The May 11 date of the Epicenter Festival in Rockingham, NC was set to feature Tool, Judas Priest, Black Label Society, High On Fire, Crobot and way more. Unfortunately the day didn't progress as scheduled due to severe weather in the area. According to a Twitter post by Epicenter, severe weather was damaging the site and the May 12 date would (and did) continue on as scheduled.
"For the safety of fans, artists, and staff, the county of Richmond has determined that Epicenter will not resume tonight. Severe weather is continuing and we need to repair damage to the site. Please understand that this is a difficult decision and we know how excited each of you were. Doors will open at 12PM tomorrow. Further information for ticket buyers will be emailed as soon as possible."
Tool guitarist Adam Jones posted some footage of the band's video wall being taken by the wind, and fans also posted some pictures of the show being evacuated.
