Last week, Norwegian Air announced an advertising campaign that would put one deceased Norwegian hero on its planes in honor of the airline's 10th anniversary. Well, it didn't take long for Øystein Aarseth, also known as Euronymous of Mayhem, to take the lead position in the poll. Even though he was winning the vote but quite a large margin, his family requested the airlines remove his name from the campaign, and the airline respected their wished. So it looks like we won't be seeing the murdered former Mayhem frontman gracing the skies anytime soon. Are you surprised? [via The Gauntlet]
