The recently-reunited Chimaira will play their second show of 2024 aboard the Headbanger's Boat between October 28 and November 1 of this year. Chimaira keyboardist and vocalist Chris Spicuzza isn't able to make the show, so they've recruited Sean Zatorsky (Dååth, Sinsaenum, etc.) as his replacement.
Zatorsky played in Chimaira between 2011 and 2014, and played on the band's (so far) final album Crown of Phantoms in 2013.
"Sean Z, @seanzscreams, will handle keyboard duties for Spicuzza on the @headbangersboat . Spicuzza cannot attend but has been working hard to prepare Z to ensure a killer performance.
"Sean toured with Chimaira as the keyboardist and backing vocals from 2011 to 2014 and can be heard on the Crown of Phantoms LP," wrote Chimaira.
"He's also the main vocalist of several amazing bands:
@daathofficial
@sinsaenum
@ventedmusic
@velositormusic
"We begin rehearsal this week and look forward to seeing y'all at sea!"
Chimaira's first reunion show of 2024 was at the Inkcarceration Festival earlier this July. As of right now, Chimaira has no other reunion shows lined up. If you missed the Inkcarceration, definitely check out footage below – it was killer!
