Hey, at least Cynic drummer Sean Reinert waited until after the band recorded their Kindly Bent to Free Us record to get surgery! Seriously though, Reinert is doing just fine.
Reinert took to his Facebook page over the weekend to update everyone on his condition post surgery, putting up the above photo and caption:
"All better! #applejuice"
According to The PRP, Reinert had "arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee earlier this week" and appears to be doing very well. Fortunately for Reinert the band haven't announced any shows for the foreseeable future, so Reinert has the aduquate time to get himself all healed before sitting behind the kit. Especially considering it's a knee surgery, the dude needs to take every precaution not to hurt himself again! Best of luck with the full recovery, Sean!
