Glenn Danzig recently released his long-awaited Elvis covers record Danzig Sings Elvis. Prior to that, his last original music releases were Black Laden Crown in 2017 and Deth Red Sabaoth in 2010 (and then before that, 2004). So Danzig has been spacing out things in a pretty big way over the past nearly 20 years with his solo career, and he's in no rush to speed things up again.
Danzig tells Billboard now that Danzig Sings Elvis is out, he's not really interested in doing another studio album for a little while. So you'll just have to be happy with what you've got for the time being.
"For now, people are going to have to be happy with the Danzig Sings Elvis record, and I'll see in a couple years if I feel like recording another. If something comes in my mind, maybe I'll do another. Maybe I'll just give it away for free or something. I don't know. But as long as I'm having a good time, it doesn't really matter."
It's worth noting that Danzig and Misfits are talking about potentially doing their first Danzig-fronted record since 1983's Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood. Though personally, I'm petitioning Two Minutes to Late Night to write their own Danzig solo record.
