Darren Aronofsky is one of my all-time favorite directors, with Requiem For A Dream and The Wrestler amongst my all-time favorite movies (the former much more so than the latter). Fun fact: Aronofsky went to the same high school as I did (Edward R. Murrow High, represent!) and a lot of Requiem was shot in the neighborhood I grew up in. I always considered him a smart guy. Which is why I am shocked, SHOCKED, that he has agreed to direct a music video for Lou Reed & Metallica. The video will be for the track "Iced Honey," which is easily the most song-like piece on the whole album. For a full, in-depth review of Lou Reed and Metallica's Lulu, click here.
