So remember last week when we said Draiman was just writing lyrics for new Megadeth and won't be on the record? Current news says otherwise.
Mostly this image courtesy of Metal Insider, which explicitly states that Draiman is singing on new Megadeth. Who knows, maybe it'll be cool? Draiman has a really cool voice, he's just been in some pretty largely panned bands; it happens. Not to mention Draiman's fleshed out some pretty sweet harmonies in his day, and Mustaine is a pretty big fan of vocally-harmonized choruses… so maybe we'll see some Drustaine (that's a thing now) choruses? Even if it's just Draiman doing his thing on a verse, that's awesome. The one thing I think I can ask for not to happen and confidently speak on behalf of the fans is Draiman to leave out the weird monkey "oh/ah" thing. Seriously, don't ruin a new Megadeth album.
Now if Mustaine could only get Willie Nelson on that damn record…
