"There is some new material floating around. Nothing set in stone yet — just some skeletons."

Death Angel 2021

This past weekend, while livestreaming his Alive & Streaming Facebook series, Death Angel guitarist Ted Aguilar gave fans an update on the band’s progress in writing and recording their follow-up to the Grammy-nominated 2019 album, Humanicide.

“There is new music being worked on,” Aguilar said, adding, “There are some skeletons that [have] been floating around before [The Bay Strikes Back] tour…. If we have some time before [our shows in] Europe, maybe we'll get together and work on some stuff… But there is some new material floating around. Nothing set in stone yet — just some skeletons."

Death Angel will head to Europe in mid-July for a handful of dates, beginning in Austria on July 8. Those dates are as follows:

The twenty-song set featured covers of everyone from the Misfits, Black Flag, and the Ramones to Robert Palmer and Kool & The Gang. You can check out fan-shot footage here.
