This past weekend, while livestreaming his Alive & Streaming Facebook series, Death Angel guitarist Ted Aguilar gave fans an update on the band’s progress in writing and recording their follow-up to the Grammy-nominated 2019 album, Humanicide.
“There is new music being worked on,” Aguilar said, adding, “There are some skeletons that [have] been floating around before [The Bay Strikes Back] tour…. If we have some time before [our shows in] Europe, maybe we'll get together and work on some stuff… But there is some new material floating around. Nothing set in stone yet — just some skeletons."
Death Angel will head to Europe in mid-July for a handful of dates, beginning in Austria on July 8. Those dates are as follows:

7/9 -Masters Of Rock – Vizovice, Czechia
7/10 Beatpol – Dresden, Germany
7/11 – F-Haus – Jena, Germany
7/12 – Refinery Gallery – Bratislava-ružinov, Slovakia
Also this weekend in Death Angel news, singer Mark Osegueda performed in Napa Valley with The Wedding Band—a low-key supergroup featuring Metallica's Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo, guitarist Doc Coyle, drummer Jon Theodore (Queens of the Stone Age, ex-Mars Volta), and Osegueda. The twenty-song set featured covers of everyone from the Misfits, Black Flag, and the Ramones to Robert Palmer and Kool & The Gang. You can check out fan-shot footage here.
