Over a year after a car accident claimed the life of drummer VITEK and critically injured vocalist COVAN, DECAPITATED guitarist VOGG is soldiering on with the band. A new post from Vogg reads:
Hello everyone
I was thinking about that for a long time and it’s really hard decision for me, but I have decided to continue this band and keep Decapitated alive. I know it will be not the same anymore but I want to try and I’m sure Witek and Covan will support me and will be happy about that
So I want to say that:
If anybody from drummers and vocalists feel that they can continue what Witek and Covan did and put all power, energy and live time for this band – contact me- [email protected]

Whoever Vogg recruits won't be able to fill the void left by his former bandmates, but knowing that someone in Decapitated will still be making music is the first good band-related news I've heard in way too long. Best of luck to Vogg with the new band, and to Covan in whatever he chooses to do from hereon. Remember the former band, with the late Vitek annihilating his kit, after the jump.
