Devil You Know, the band consisting of ex-Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones, ex-All Shall Perish guitarist Francesco Artusato, and ex-Bleeding Through bassist Ryan Wombacher, are no longer known as Devil You Know. Rather, the band has changed its name to Light The Torch, and has issued the following brief pre-statement.
"A full statement will be made soon and a new album is very close to being completed. It's a new beginning and we couldn't be more excited."
No word yet on why the band has changed its name. Since its inception in 2012, the band lost guitarist Roy Lev-Ari (Hiss Of Atrocities, Omicide) in 2015 and drummer John Sankey (Devolved, ex-Divine Heresy) in 2016, yet has still carried on with live shows.
Though to be fair, Devil You Know did not release an album without Sankey on drums, so maybe that's why? I guess we'll know soon enough. Here's hoping the rebrand goes well!
