Ready or not, there's a good chance there'll be a new Disturbed album out in 2018, according to guitarist Dan Donegan. Though if you're feeling particularly impatient between releases, frontman David Draiman not only confirmed that there's likely going to be a new album in 2018, but the band is also working on an acoustic EP in the interim.

Here's what he had to say via Rock Antenne, which you can check out below.

"Well, the plan at this particular point in time is to take a little bit of time off, spend some time with our families, get some personal stuff done. We have an acoustic EP that we're working on. That's something we've wanted to do for years that we just never had the time or the opportunity to. So that we'll be working on in between our LP releases. And then probably 2018 we will head back into the studio to record the next record and hopefully have a release sometime in late 2018 and hit the road 2019 again."

Honestly, I'm a little curious as to what the EP will consist of. Will it be covers of other artists and renditions of the band's previous material, or will it be material written exclusively for the release? I guess we'll see either this year or next year.
