We are continuing our coverage of Wes Scantlin being a terrible person in the hopes that enough promoters see this and wise up and stop booking him. In the past six months alone, he was arrested at a Denver airport and almost missed a gig until a fan had to bail him out. Then, he was arrested at a different airport, missing a gig. And of course, there was the time where he just decided mid-show to call it a day angering his loyalest fans.
Guess what? This weekend, Wes did it again. Puddle of Mudd were scheduled to play The Machine Shop in Flint, MI but Wes just didn't feel like getting on the plane. The venue posted this message explaining why the show was canceled:
Tonight's PUDDLE OF MUDD concert was just cancelled by their management due to Wes Scanlon not getting on the plane. We do not know all the details, but the band is in town and the gear is here. We are beyond frustrated with this situation. Most unprofessional situation in the almost 14 years we have been open. We are very sorry that Puddle Of Mudd has disappointed everyone. Etix is refunding all online purchases right now. The rest of the tickets will be refunded at the club. WE WILL STAY OPEN TONIGHT FOR A FREE SHOW with Sour Jane, Tripp 'N' Dixie & Ironsnake!!
Venue owners and promoters, take note… DO NOT BOOK WES SCANTLIN BECAUSE HE MAY JUST DECIDE TO SKIP OUT ON YOUR GIG, CAUSING UNNECCESSARY DRAMA!
