Ytsejam Records was a label headed up by then-Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, which focused on issuing Dream Theater live shows, demos and studio outtakes. The label fell into obscurity upon Portnoy's departure from the band, but it's back! Dream Theater has now launched their Lost Not Forgotten Archives, whose sole purpose is to reissue the entire Ytsejam Records back catalog alongside a host of new additions.
"Dream Theater, in conjunction with Inside Out Music are pleased to officially announce the Lost Not Forgotten Archives, which will see the long-standing Ytsejam Records catalog reissued and remastered alongside some brand new additions to this special collectors series," said the band. "Released on CD as well as vinyl and digital for the first time, with brand new artwork, they will also be available in limited, autographed special editions direct from the band."
The first release from the Lost Not Forgotten Archives will be Images and Words – Live in Japan, 2017, available for pre-order on May 14 and released on June 25. Dream Theater is also eyeing a release date for their new album later this year.
