After putting out a new song called "Remember You Are Dust" earlier this week, Entheos has revealed they're down to just being a duo. The band has parted ways with guitarist Travis LeVrier (ex-Scale the Summit), leaving vocalist Chaney Crabb and drummer-turned-every-musician Navene Koperweis (ex-Animals as Leaders).
"First, we should inform you that Travis is no longer a member of the band. We will always look back on the things we accomplished together fondly – we travelled the world and shared some of the best times of our lives together. So many of these things would not have been possible without our mutual dedication to this project. That will not soon be forgotten. We thank him immensely for his time in the band and wish him the best moving forward.
"After countless discussions and time spent thinking about the future of our Entheos, we have decided to move forward with Navene writing and recording drums, guitar and bass. He has been the main songwriter throughout the duration of the band, and we really feel that this is Entheos at its purest form.
"As for live shows, we will be bringing both a live bassist and guitarist on tour with us and continuing on as a four-piece band.
"We have poured our blood, sweat and tears into this project for the past five years and do not plan on stopping any time soon. Entheos forever."
Entheos' lineup over the years has also included guitarists Frank Costa (ex-Animosity) and Malcolm Pugh (Inferi, A Loathing Requiem), as well as bassist Evan Brewer (ex-The Faceless, ex-Lillake).
