Jesper Strömblad, ex-In Flames guitarist and current The Resistance guitarist, has announced via Facebook that he will be embarking on a solo project sometime in the near future. It sounds like it might be instrumental, but who knows? Maybe Strömblad is hiding a killer set of pipes behind his amazing guitar playing. According to his official Facebook fan page alongside the above picture:

If you look in the top left-hand corner of the above picture, you'll see it Jesper Strömblad Project 2016. Maybe that's a hint that the record is coming next year and not this year? It doesn't sound like he's got anything written right now either.
