Exodus will hit the studio this September to record their first new album since 2014's Blood In, Blood Out. Guitarist Gary Holt revealed on Instagram the band is writing right now and that the new stuff is pretty damn heavy.
"I’ll be in the studio in September. [We’re] writing right now," said Holt. "We’ve got about six songs done and about a million riffs. And it’s crushing. We all say that, right? I’m not kidding. It’s something else. People are gonna hear this record and they’re gonna go, "Holy shit! Exodus is up to no good.'"
One major holdup for Exodus over the years was Holt filling in with Slayer, who wrapped up their career in 2019.
