Usually when there's a considerable distance between shows for a band, they either spend the entire night and next day driving, or there's a day off between. Unless you're Chris Jericho's band Fozzy, in which case you book shows in Florida, Texas, and a Nevada all in one day and hire a private jet to get you around.
Fozzy will be performing its Fozzy Across America mini-tour all in one day on October 14. The schedule for the day is as follows, and all times are local times to that state. So that saves Fozzy at least a little time… kinda.
- 9AM, Fort Myers, Florida – Fozzy plays The Ranch and does a post-show VIP Meet & Greet.
- 3PM, El Paso, Texas – Fozzy plays Star City Studios.
- 11PM, Las Vegas, Nevada – Fozzy plays the Hard Rock Cafe.
Florida is an hour ahead of Texas, so Fozzy has seven hours to get from Florida to Texas (including the gig), and then Texas is two hours ahead of Nevada, so that gives Fozzy a total of 10 hours there. It seems a little more reasonable when you put it like that, but still.
Fozzy's album Judas comes out on October 13, and there's a pre-order option for $12,500 where you can go to all three gigs and fly with the band on its jet.
