The Most Notable Metal Thing About Last Night's GRAMMYs Was Dave Grohl Wearing A SLAYER Shirt

I wasn't able to watch all of the Grammys this year, since I was doing the Livecast for the first half of it, but when I returned home and turned it on, I watched about the last 90 minutes of the show, which felt like an eternity. Music is a very wide spectrum, so to appeal to all bases is pretty much impossible, so the Grammys think, why bother? Heck, they've already condenced the Hard Rock and Metal categories into one, which Foo Fighters won, duh! They're the only band the Grammy board has heard of. Dave Grohl did wear a Slayer shirt, and had a very touching acceptance speech when the band won the Best Rock Performance award:

Does anybody find it painfully ironic that LMFAO played immediately after Grohl gave a speech about authentic music? Not seen in the video is the Grammys cutting to Ryan Seacreast right after, the most authentic person in all of music.

The only other notable thing from the Grammys is this painfully awkward pre-show interview with Dream Theater, who were also nominated in the Hard Rock/Metal category:
