Is there any way Bruce Dickinson isn't a perfect human being?

Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, ahem… Dr. Bruce Dickinson really ought to just be given the award for being the best person alive currently. He flies planes, creates jobs and saves stranded passengers. On top of that, the man just got through his battle with cancer and not only announced that a new Iron Maiden record was coming, but also spent time recently visiting music charity Nordoff Robbins’ London center to celebrate Music Therapy Week.

Dickinson hung out with some of the staff, talked to the kids and even played guitar! According to Metal Hammer, Music Therapy Week seeks to raise awareness of how Nordoff Robbins’ program can assist children with autism, adults with learning difficulties and people with neurological disorders. The organisation is committed to transforming people’s lives through music – “whatever their age or background.”

Dickinson and the band will receive a Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef award on July 3 for their collective “outstanding contribution to UK music.” You can find out more about the organization, which seeks to change others' lives through music, no matter age or background, here
