JANE'S ADDICTION Ends Boston Show After PERRY FARRELL Attacks DAVE NAVARRO On Stage

It's not great.

Jane's Addiction's show on September 13 at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, MA ended abruptly when vocalist Perry Farrell assaulted guitarist Dave Navarro on stage.

Video footage of the incident shows Farrell walking over to Navarro and aggressively bumping him with his shoulder toward the end of the song "Ocean Size", then looking back and getting up in Navarro's face. Farrell then pushed Navarro and even threw a punch before a roadie and Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery broke it up. Farrell was ultimately escorted off stage while the rest of Jane's Addiction went out and talked to the crowd a little bit.

Blabbermouth further reports that Farrell was slurring his words all night prior to the confrontation with Navarro. It's not clear what's been going on with Farrell lately, but he's had a rough go of things live. Fans reported a questionable performance by Farrell on September 10 at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, where Farrell's voice was not up to snuff.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I have to be honest with you. Something's wrong with my voice," said Farrell at the September 10. "I just can't get the notes out all of a sudden."

Avery remained optimistic in a statement on his Instagram regarding the September 10 show, saying: "Looking forward to getting another crack at this spectacular rooftop venue tonight. I'm optimistic we will be better."

Jane's Addiction's classic line-up of Farrell, Navarro, Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins played their first show back together since 2010 earlier this year. So who knows how long this is going to last if there's gonna be fights on stage.

Jane's Addiction – fresh off their first song with the above lineup in 34 years – still has a few shows left with Love And Rockets, assuming they happen. Get your tickets for the North American tour right here.
