Kerry King has made it very known that he thinks Slayer quit too early. Then in a recent interview with Metal Hammer, King was asked if Slayer would potentially get back together should there be one more Big 4 show. His answer wasn't exactly optimistic.
"I would! But the way that I'm moving forward is I don't think Slayer are ever going to play again. There's no business of me playing by myself! Ha ha!"
It's interesting that King states he would, but then seems to imply that it's not his decision or that others aren't on board. Gary Holt has also made it known he thinks Slayer quit too early too, so it's probably not him.
All we know is that there's potentially a new band with King, Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph, ex-Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo, and Exodus guitarist (and Slayer live mainstay) Gary Holt somewhere on the horizon.
