King Diamond, better known to none as Kim Bendix Petersen, and his wife and live backup singer since 2003 Livia Zita are the proud parents of a three-month-old son named Byron. Obviously the kid wasn't born at three months old, but instead the couple chose to remain private with their lives (as they should).
Blabbermouth reports the couple named their son after Uriah Heep frontman David Byron, and filling in for Zita live has been Hel Pyre from Afterblood. We wish the Petersen family all the best with their child, and hope he's doing well! Also, credit to Petersen for being able to have kids at the age of 61.
In semi-related news, King Diamond has taken off the majority of 2017 to write and record a new album, and will be performing at Psycho Las Vegas this August.
