Kiss have been rocking and rolling for over 40 years, and if we're to believe them, they are set to hang their gloves with their final concert ever on Saturday, December 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Never shy to take it to another level, the band has announced that the concert will be streamed worldwide, live on pay-per-view, exclusively on PPV.com. It will also be available on PPV via cable and satellite operators in the U.S. and Canada.
PPV.com is a streaming service that does not require a subscription. The concert will be offered for $39.99 in the U.S. and Canada ($14.99 outside North America). If you are unable to attend the concert in person, this is the best way to experience as it happens.
Kiss's "final show" will be a momentous occasion for their fans around the world, with most of the band's biggest hits and signature stage show on full display. Will this be the last time the four masked men will be seen on stage? It all points to that, so surely mark your calendar.
Outside their final show, Kiss has also been working on a biopic that'll be coming to Netflix sometime soon-ish.
According to longtime manager Doc McGhee in an interview with The Rock Experience with Mike Brunn podcast, the film is to be titled Shout It Out Loud and is expected to feature the same stylistic cinema featured in recent biopics such as the Mötley Crüe saga The Dirt and The Runaways (which profiled the popular group from which Joan Jett and Lita Ford launched their careers).
"It's a biopic about the first four years of Kiss," McGhee said. "We're just starting it now. We've already sold it, it's already done, we have a director." He did not elaborate any further nor mention any names attached to the film so far. Though it's worth noting that in 2021, Deadline reported Norwegian filmmaker Joachim Rønning (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) was set to direct the biopic, with a script written by Ole Sanders, who previously worked with Madonna on her "Die Another Day" video.
