Lair of the Minotaur have been silent on the new music front since 2010's killer Evil Power, but that's about to change. The band is releasing a new EP called Godslayer as well as playing a free record release show at Chicago's Reckless Records to commemorate this year's Record Store Day. The EP is limited to 300 7" pressings and features two tracks, "Godslayer on the A-side and “The Black Heart of the Stygian Drakonas” as the B-side, which were both mastered by Pig Destroyer's Scott Hull.
There will be a digital release available too but, honestly, wouldn't you rather have this sweet baby on vinyl so you can horrify your parents and loved ones with the wicked artwork pictured above? You can get this EP when it's released on April 20th – Record Store Day. If you happen to be a Chicago hesher, you can catch Lair of the Minotaur's free hometown record release gig on the 20th as well. In the meantime, feast your eyes on Lair of the Minotaur's awesome (and extremely NSFW) video for "Evil Power".
