In both 2008 and 2009, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland played in Marilyn Manson's band. This was at a time where Limp Bizkit wasn't together, so Borland was spending a lot of time around Manson. In a recent interview with Metal Hammer, Borland expresses that his time with Manson was fantastic, yet a bit of a letdown despite the fact that Manson was funny and witty.
However, Borland, without any context given by the publication, expresses that Manson needs to "stop abusing" his inner organs.
"It was entertaining and simultaneously inspiring, and also a letdown at the same time.
"That guy is one of the funniest, quickest-witted people I've ever met, but he really needs to be healthier.
"He needs to start working on his inner organs and stop abusing them so much, because they're going to fail him."
The only thing I can think of was that around 2007, Manson and his then-wife Dita Von Teese had split because she couldn't stand that Manson was always partying (and fucking someone else). So maybe Manson's still partying that hard nearly 10 years later, and Borland is concerned?
Regardless, it seems like Borland is just looking out for his buddy…. unless this is all referring to something else and Borland is just genuinely concerned that Manson isn't treating his organs right. Again, context is absent here.
Manson seems to be doing pretty well for himself this year. He has a movie coming out, he's going to be on tour with Slipknot and he's modelling in a fashion campaign.
