Linkin Park will celebrate the 20th birthday of their debut album Hybrid Theory this year and they're seeking help from fans. Linkin Park asks if anyone has any memorabilia from between 2000 to 2002, to go ahead and submit to them via this link.
“This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of HYBRID THEORY. We have some special things planned throughout the year and want you to be a part of it.
We’re looking for photos, videos, ticket stubs, merch, flyers, souvenirs and anything else you collected from the early days of the band in the late 90’s through the HYBRID THEORY era of 2000-2002. Some great examples include (but are not limited to) live concert footage and photos, pictures of band members and signed goodies from LPU meet and greets.”
Hybrid Theory has been certified 11x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) since its release, having sold over 11 million copies in the United States. Hybrid Theory has also sold over 1.5 million in the United Kingdom, 4 million in Europe overall, and nearly 1 million in Germany among other countries. Hybrid Theory is really popular is what I'm saying.
It should also be noted that vocalist Chester Bennington's old band Grey Daze is also releasing an album this year with all Bennington's vocal tracks.
We are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hybrid Theory all year long and want you to be a part of it.
