Sick of feeling guilty from getting your music from Best Buy? Well, something new is on the horizon! Metal Club is a distribution service which is partnering with mom-and-pop records stores in order to deliver some of the most demanded metal albums to a store near you. On the site you will find some of the latest news of the world on all types of metal music, courtesy of Decibel Magazine, along with a Store Locator so that you can shop locally and still quench your thirst for metal.
Metal Club is working with some of the most legendary metal labels such as Century Media, Nuclear Blast, Metal Blade, Earache, Candlelight, Season of Mist, Willowtip and Roadrunner. The campaign promises to work with local retail to create ongoing discounts, official seal of approval stickers and better placement for their participating labels.
Even cooler, you will find special releases made just for the metal community by these Metal Club stores. Some of the more interesting special releases include the "Wormhole Tunnel Box Edition" of Mastodon's Crack the Skye as well as items which will be sold exclusively by Metal Club stores, such as, Slayer's World Painted Blood single on special edition Red 7" vinyl, Pantera's Cowboys from Hell: The Demos on 180 gram vinyl and Metallica's Live at Grimey's, which will be released on standard CD's and limited-edition two-disc sets on regular-weight 10” vinyl with a gatefold jacket.
So for all you vinyl-heads and collectors out there, stop salivating and check it out for yourself!
