We're just a few hours away from the kick-off of the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards. (See the rock and metal nominees here).
We are currently watching the pre-show monitoring for the "Best Metal Performance" award to be called. As we wait, Metal Insider notes that a tweet leaked the rehearsal schedule for the awards show, which shows that Metallica will be performing their recent single "Moth Info Flame" with Gaga. Update: Watch the performance here.

In an interview, with the GRAMMYs earlier today, or perhaps last night after the rehearsal, Kirk Hammett talked about how he was initially apprehensive about performing with Gaga, but after they rehearsed, he was surprised at her range and thinks she will bring "an edge" to the performance.
We'll be watching the show and try to get some video of the performance up as soon as it's over.
