The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame will announce their official nominees for the Class of 2020 on October 15. In the meantime, the hall is hosting their own fan-based poll at the Rock Hall museum in Cleveland, and a few major rock names are up top! Right now, according to the Instagram of Sirius XM DJ Kathrine Boyd, the top picks are:
- Motley Crue – 3,152 votes
- Blink-182 – 2,217 votes
- Iron Maiden – 1,771 votes
- Dave Matthews Band – 1,552 votes
- Cher – 1,455 votes
The Motley Crue one makes sense given they released their move The Dirt and it's been just about everywhere. Blink-182 is a bit of a surprise, but after the recruited Alkaline Trio vocalist Matt Skiba they seem to have gotten quite a bit of traction. Iron Maiden has been up for the hall for a while now, but we know vocalist Bruce Dickinson would outright refuse to be in there (and their bassist doesn't give a shit).
