MOTÖRHEAD Announce New Album Title; LEMMY Has A Health Scare

Motörhead has been on a two year album cycle since 1996's Overnight Sensation. Every two years they drop a new album, tour non-stop, then repeat. When 2012 came and went without a new release from the it seemed strange. Rumors of a covers album circulated, but ultimately they remained as quiet as the band known for having everything louder than everything else can be. The answer why may have been revealed…

According to Classic Rock Magazine and a recent Blabbermouth entry, front man Lemmy Kilmister recently had a defibrillator installed following heart problems. This doesn't come as too much as a surprise considering Lemmy is 67 and, if his stories from his autobiography White Line Fever are true, has lived a hell of a life of drugs, booze, and women.

The band appears to be back on track and will be release Aftershock this fall. Tracks featured include "Dust And Glass", "Knife", "Going To Mexico", "Lost Woman Blues", "Death Machine," "Heartbreaker" and more.

We wish Lemmy good health and look forward to the new album.
