Mysticum just announced they signed a new deal with Peaceville Records, and will be putting out their first new album in 15 years, Planet Satan later this year. The band will forever be associated for me with the King of Metal, Dave Hill and his amazing Black Metal Dialogues, where he emailed the band and convinced them he was in the best black metal band ever called Witch Taint (no such band existed) and he got them to even offer him a deal. Speaking of the King of Metal, when he's not shitting on modern black metal bands, he's putting out a book called Tasteful Nudes (available for pre-order on Amazon.com) and he released a pretty funny music video (non-metal) hyping it up. Check it out:
