New Material from LOCK UP "Is Gonna Destroy" (Featuring Members of AT THE GATES, NAPALM DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR)

Lock Up's fourth album may or may not destroy the universe.

Lock Up's fourth album may or may not destroy the universe.

Lock Up, which consists of vocalist Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, Disfear), guitarist Anton Reisenegger (Pentagram), bassist Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria) and drummer Nick Barker (Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir), have begun writing their new record, saying on Facebook:

"Looking forward to another writing session for the new album in a couple of weeks down in the beautiful Basque region of Spain….New material is sounding off the hook and studio album #4 is gonna DESTROY!!!…Can't wait to share it with all of you."

Realistically is there anything this line-up could do that isn't amazing? Their brief three-album discography has been nothing but amazing thus far, which rules considering there was a eight-year gap between 2003's Hate Breeds Suffering and 2011's Necropolis Transparent. So the band know how to keep the killer music flowing regardless of circumstance.

I wonder what's going to be faster… this or Origin's new record?
