If you're a fan of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, you've gotten plenty of new music from them by way of the various Watchmen scores, and other scoring they've been doing lately. But if you're like myself, and listen to way too much Nine Inch Nails, you might be wondering – when the hell are they gonna tour again? And, to a lesser extent, when are they going to record/release new music?
Well the answer to both seems to be 2020.
Trent Reznor is the cover star of the January 2020 issue of Revolver magazine. Some fans from the Nine Inch Nails subreddit managed to grab a copy of the new issue, and in the profile piece on Reznor, it divulges this tasty morsel of information:
“But Nine Inch Nails is not forgotten,” the article reads. “The band recently released ‘the definitive edition’ of its 2005 album With Teeth, and in 2020, Reznor and Ross plan to take the group back out on tour, as well as record new NIN music.”
Unfortunately, that's all the info the article provides about the potential for new music or tours. Hopefully, in future interviews, Reznor would elaborate more.
But it looks like 2020 is really shaping up to be awesome for new music for hard rock and metal fans.
