On Jan. 7 we got wind that Origin were hitting up the studio to begin recording their new album Omnipresent, and as of Jan. 30 the band are all wrapped up! Omnipresent was recorded with engineer Rob Rebeck and the band are looking to release the album sometime this spring via Nuclear Blast.
No word on if they're going to actually release it in spring, that's just a projection from the band. I feel like we'll know when it's going to drop because time will probably slow down due to Origin moving too goddamn fast.
The band announced the completion of Omnipresent on Facebook.
"ITS OFFICIAL: the ORIGIN 'OMNIPRESENT' sessions are a wrap!!! It was a grueling month, but you can be assured we have produced some of the most intense and diverse Origin material to date!! (Rest assured "diverse" does NOT mean clean singing or any soft metal BS) We go from lightspeed to absolute zero and back on this one. We are everywhere and nowhere. We are Omnipresent.
