T-Pain dropped a fantastic cover of the Black Sabbath classic "War Pigs" in 2023. The cover was a massive, psychedelic interpretation of the anti-war classic that easily demands repeat listens. Now roughly nine months later, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne has heard the cover and absolutely loved it.
In a tweet, Osbourne reposted a live version of T-Pain's "War Pigs" with the caption "This is the best cover of 'War Pigs' ever. Why didn't you guys call me?" T-Pain saw the praise and responded in the comments: "You're always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself."
Heartwarming? Of course. Well deserved? Totally. T-Pain clearly put a lot of thought and effort into reimagining the metal classic and it shines through in a big way. If you haven't heard T-Pain's version of "War Pigs", check it out below. It's killer.
