While other bands are cranking out their own beer, Periphery has teamed up with Washington D.C.-based coffee company Vigilante to produce its own Flatline coffee series.
The coffee is currently available by the bag for $25 in the band's merchandise store, or for $30 with a Periphery mug! You can also snag a mug for $12 each, but the coffee and mug combination deal makes a lot more sense financially. Here's what guitarist Marc Holcomb had to say about the coffee!
“Being the coffee junkies that we are, the band and I jumped at the opportunity to develop and release our own branded coffee with Vigilante, who kept us over-caffeinated for the Periphery III recording session. When we saw what Vigilante founder Chris Vigilante was doing and tasted the coffee they were brewing, we were floored; it was easily the best coffee I had tried in my years of living in D.C., and the band made it our go-to coffee spot."
it's also worth noting that an unspecified portion of the proceeds will be going to Ecuador's earthquake emergency relief fund to help the country get back on its feet after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit in April this year.
