Not that there hasn't been footage of their new song "A Wolf Amongst Ravens" before, but this one is actually listenable compared to the garbled messes of videos that preceded it.

After the Burial are one of those bands that you'll never have to wonder if their newest record is going to be amazing, because deep down you just know it's going to be. "A Wolf Amongst Ravens" is a little simpler in terms of the usual rhythmic mayhem the band writes, but it works so damn well in this content. Between the drop X-tuned guitars repeating that infectious rhythmic pattern throughout the song (with the variants, of course) and the little melodious interspersed throughout the song via lead guitars and spacey synth patch, the band have written themselves a winner. I'm thinking this is going to be Album #3's "Your Troubles Will Cease and Fortune Will Smile Upon You," as it has that same groovy-and-slightly-uptempo quality, but in its own unique way that'll propel the band far beyond the success of In Dreams.
Oh, and not to mention they're working on some type of re-recording of Forging a Future Self. All aboard the hypetrain!
