The worst kept secret in metal right now is that Metallica are going to be hitting some stadiums up for a tour this summer with Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat. Word started leaking out earlier this week. The band themselves hinted at big stadium shows this summer at their intimate NYC gig around the time of their album release.
Well, it looks like everything is going to be confirmed on Monday, because Live Nation, the biggest worldwide concert promoters, just tweeted out this teaser:

Any sort of typography nerd will notice that font is the official Hardwired…To Self Destruct font. Take a look at the album cover if you don't believe me:
The second image is a still from their "Spit Out The Bone" video, notice how the O in "Bone" and "Monday" are exactly the same. It's because it's the same font.
Expect an official announcement on Monday morning, which is brilliant marketing on their part as it will be right on the heels of their performance at the GRAMMYs with Lady Gaga.
